Welcome to Royal Courts ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Royal Courts mobile application.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1.1 Account Information — When you register, we collect: username/display name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).
1.2 User-Generated Content — Chat messages, court reviews and ratings, comments and replies.
1.3 Usage Data — Device type and operating system, app usage patterns, crash reports and performance data.
1.4 Tennis Court Data — Court names and locations, court photos and descriptions, user-submitted ratings and reviews.
1.5 Purchase & Subscription Data — When you subscribe to Royal Courts Pro, we collect subscription status and transaction receipts (processed by Apple/Google and RevenueCat, not stored directly by us).
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use collected information to: create and manage your account, provide and improve the App, display personalized content, enable community features including chat and reviews, process and manage subscriptions, send service notifications, analyze usage trends, and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. FIREBASE AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Royal Courts uses Google Firebase for authentication and data storage. We use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Analytics. We also use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. By using Royal Courts, you also agree to Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
4. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers (such as Firebase/Google, RevenueCat), if required by law, to protect safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
5. APPLE APP STORE PRIVACY
In accordance with Apple's App Store requirements:
• Data Used to Track You: None • Data Linked to You: Email address, username, user content (reviews, chat messages), purchase history • Data Not Linked to You: Usage data, diagnostics, crash data
We do not use your data for tracking purposes across other companies' apps or websites.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS & IN-APP PURCHASES
Royal Courts Pro subscription options: • Monthly: $4.99/month with 3-day free trial • Annual: $34.99/year with 3-day free trial (save 42%) • Lifetime: $69.99 one-time purchase
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial period ends. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.
7. USER-GENERATED CONTENT AND PUBLIC INFORMATION
Your username, reviews, court ratings, and chat messages are visible to other users. Do not share sensitive personal information in public areas of the App.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain account information while your account is active. Chat messages may be retained for up to 90 days for moderation purposes. You may request deletion by contacting [email protected].
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Royal Courts is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Contact us immediately if you believe a child's information has been collected.
10. DATA SECURITY
We use TLS encryption in transit and Firebase's built-in security rules. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple/Google and is never stored by us. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
11. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your information. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device settings. To exercise data rights, contact [email protected].
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy and will notify you of significant changes in the App or by email.
